Umar Arsii - Teshite Robe
"Say, He is Allah, [Who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Quran 112:1-4

My Religious Background

I grew up in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, following the faith of my father and grandfather. In 1973, I joined the Sudan International Missionaries (SIM) Church, where studying the Bible was central to academic and spiritual life.

Later, I attended a Seventh-day Adventist missionary school, which challenged my understanding of Christianity due to differences in observing the Sabbath. These experiences sparked deep philosophical questions about faith, practice, and spiritual truth, shaping my perspective and approach as a writer.

My Journey as a Writer

Writing has been my lifelong passion. Through my books, I address:

  • Life lessons and moral guidance

  • Spiritual and religious reflections

  • Practical advice for personal growth

  • Ethical and societal development

I strive to empower readers, especially the younger generation, with knowledge, values, and hope for a better future.

Languages I Write In

  • Amharic: For Ethiopian readers who connect deeply with local culture and traditions

  • Afaan Oromo: To reach communities in Oromia and neighboring regions

  • English: To share my insights with a global audience

Beyond Writing

Beyond authoring books, I engage with my community to promote:
